My heart is so full remembering the launch party for the “Prevent Postpartum Depression” course. I am so grateful for the friends and supporters who came down to Herb & Wood’s gallery space in San Diego’s Little Italy neighborhood to celebrate with me.

Thank you all for coming to celebrate! Guests (in order of photos) included but were not limited to: Jean-Marie of Voila Montessori; Janisha Street (contributor to upcoming courses “Relationships After Baby” and “#BlackMomsMatter”) and her family; Jen Fisher, LMFT, interim president of the Postpartum Health Alliance; midwife, Joanna Bonkema, of Best Start Birth Center and Mother to Mother Midwifery; Christina Soletti of Ergobaby; Candace of Born to Blossom Doula; Caitlin Chapman, LPCC, and reviewer extraordinaire; Renata Cameron, LMFT, of Milestone Mommy and Me support groups;¬†Andrea Knox of the Postpartum Planner; sleep trainer, Jen Varela of Sugar Night Night;¬†and lactation consultant, Valentina Caputo, IBCLC, from Best Baby Ever.

Side note: I’m a little star struck as I type this out, realizing all the powerful women we had there. No wonder the conversational buzz in the air felt so magical!

The Prevent Postpartum Depression Launch Party would not have been the same without you

Special thanks to my sister, Claire, of Stitch and Feather, who came down to San Diego and styled me; the handsome man behind the camera and my websites; and Herb & Wood‘s catering team for pulling it all together in less than a week with our first venue fell through. Seriously, it was everything I was hoping for: delicious food, relaxed enough for the kids to play, and beautiful!
